The first team won through to the Harry Clarke cup quarter final with a 2-1 win over Annalong (see report), the seconds had no fixture while the thirds although leading late on contrived to lose 4-3 versus Maghera. Scorers were Shane Mooney (pictured) who got two and Colm McVeigh.

Danny Cass and Decky were very intently watching the Leeds Southampton match last Saturday evening and getting very excited about it, very strange behaviour, but it seems they did a bet together and were waiting for a Southampton win which they duly got. Unfortunately Decky couldn’t lift the winnings as he had a prior ‘Engagement’! Top marks to them.
Bottom marks however go to the wife of a prominent committee member who after seeing the new 3g pitch in the town inquired as to whose responsibility it was to cut the grass on it!!!
