A cup with a story
The Peter Corrigan Cup was created in 1991 in memory of a highly respected past player and former president of Castlewellan Town. Peter always enjoyed watching good football, and the tournament that carries his name has proved a fitting tribute — a competition clubs genuinely want to win.
Played across the summer weeks before the leagues kick off, it has grown into the premier pre-season competition for amateur clubs in the area: proper matches, proper silverware, and a final that is one of the biggest days in the club calendar.
