In what is an amazing week for the club with 4 cup finals up for decision it all starts off on Thursday 4th May with what has to be the biggest game the club has played since they were reformed in 1964. Opponents Suffolk who are at present top of division 2A and have already annexed the Junior Shield will provide stern opposition. Any team that is near the top of 2A is automatically one of the top junior sides in the country so it just shows how far we have come in the last few years when we can mix in this sort of company. However while we respect the obvious claims of Suffolk, Castlewellan teams never go out thinking they are second best and certainly we hope to put it up to the Belfast side on the night. On our path to the final we have already beaten two 2A sides Oliver Plunket and Woodvale, we also came out ahead of Ballysillan Swifts and they too will be among the elite next season. Ravenhill YM and 4th Newtownabbey were also defeated en route to this Cochrane and Corry Cup decider. Goals scored 21, conceded 4
Suffolk have accounted for Newtownbreda FC, Ballynagross, Ardoyne, Bangor Rangers and Rosemount. Goals scored 20 conceded 7.

On Friday 5th May our Seconds team take on Annalong in the Harry Clarke Cup final. It’s a fantastic achievement for a seconds team to get this far and who’s to say they can’t go on and win the cup! With a mixture of youth and experience the Town have seen off Kirkistown, Celtic Bhoys(holders), Tollymore and Drumaness Mills seconds scoring 15 while conceding 3. Their more experienced opponents Annalong have accounted for Comber Rec thirds, Mourne Rovers, Rossglass and Newcastle Swifts scoring 13 and conceding 3.
It promises to be a tasty encounter and we hope our lads do themselves justice. Good luck to Conor and Paul.

Also on the 6th Good luck to Gareth and Michael and the under 17s who take on Lisburn Distillery in their cup final at Stanley Park Lisburn, certainly they are up against it but when Castlewellan are involved anything is possible.
