0–10
Castlewellan Town
- Ruairi Croskery
- Jack McCourt
- Ryan Morgan
The firsts returned to winning ways in some style today with a 10-goal victory away to Ballywalter. Traditionally a tough ground to go to, the lads started strongly with Ruairi grabbing a hat trick inside the first 20 minutes.
A fourth goal from Ruairi made it 4-0 at the break, and he was certainly in the mood today as two further strikes put us six up as he completed his double hat trick on the hour mark. The scoring wasn’t done though as a hat trick from Jack and one from Ryan secured the points and the perfect response from the lads after a poor recent run of results in the league.

It’s over to cup action next Saturday as we welcome fellow 1C side to Corrigan Park next Saturday in the Intermediate Cup. The sides played out an entertaining 3-3 draw two weeks back so the boys know they’ll need to be on their game.
