As mentioned in the town notes there will be a summer week of football from July 8th until finals day on July 13th. It is hoped that there will be under 13, 15, under and over 30 categories as well as a pub league. There will be a night dedicated to each of these groupings. All games will be at the 3G pitch in the town but the finals will take place at the Bann Road on Saturday 13th July. Registration of teams will take place on the night your grouping is assigned. It is hoped that teams will be 7 a side but if any group is oversubscribed this may have to be reduced to 5 a side so that 2 or 3 games may be played at one time. The under 13 and 15 age groups are asked to seek a manager for their side. Cost per team will be £25. More details soon.
Further to this there will be a Peter Corrigan Cup after all this summer but it will be a four team invitational tournament played over one day (most probably on July 20th), further details to follow.
