Castlewellan Town will play host to Belfast and District premier league team Rushlight Celtic in the first round of this years Junior Shield. Rushlight were last years division 1 champions in that league and also reached the latter stages of the Shield so will no doubt provide tough opposition. The game is scheduled for Saturday 6th October. Before that however on September 15th they play host to Fermanagh and Western League Division 1 side Tummery Athletic from Dromore in Co Tyrone, although something of an unknown quantity coming from that league they should be pretty useful.
