Another good performance from the firsts as they made it 3 from 3 to start the league. First half goals from Lee & Ruairi saw us go in 2-0 up at the break before a further two from Ruairi and a goal from Mark completed the win.
Some good football played across the 90 minutes against a team that never gave up. On another day it could have been more, but another 3 points and a clean sheet is something we could get used to.
No midweek game this week but a tough encounter next Saturday in the Steel & Sons first round as we welcome National Conference League side Knockbreda to Corrigan Park. It will no doubt be a tough test for the lads, so all support welcome.
The seconds went down to a heavy defeat to Dunnaman in their second friendly of pre season. After a good first half showing the wheels fell off in the second half. The only positive is more much needed minutes under the belt.
Training continues Tuesday & Thursday at 7pm out the Bann Road.
